Subodh Gupta of Microtek create a record by supplying 7500 Oxygen Concentrators to ONGC

Subodh Gupta, CMD, Microtek International Private Limited “we established a healthcare product manufacturing facility in Vishakhapatnam, where we will begin making oxygen concentrators in August 2021. Market reaction has been overwhelmingly positive. We are extremely pleased with our record-breaking 15-day turnaround on a bulk order of 7,500 10LPM oxygen concentrators for ONGC. In addition to other items, we want to manufacture blood glucose monitors, nebulizers, dialysis machines, thermometers, and ultrasound monitors to increase our range of healthcare products.” 

One of the industry leaders in India for power products, Microtek, has stated that it recently fulfilled an order from the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for 7,500 oxygen concentrators (OCTs) with a capacity of 10 liters per minute (LPM). This was done as part of the PM CARES program. 

In order to equip them to handle COVID-19 waves that the nation may experience in the future, ONGC aims to provide these OCTs to primary health facilities on behalf of the government of India. 

Last year, Microtek entered the healthcare market just as the nation's healthcare sector was experiencing an unprecedented crisis as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.  

These devices, often referred to as Microtek OXYFLOW can continuously provide oxygen at flow rates of up to 10 litres per minute (LPM). 

The COVID 19 epidemic, which is once again sweeping across the nation, is being combated thanks to the intervention of both state-run and private businesses. 

In order to concentrate room oxygen to therapeutic levels and give it to a patient with a respiratory disease, ambient air is drawn in by an oxygen concentrator, which then filters it via a molecular sieve. It gives the patient additional or supplementary oxygen.
